This session covers a practical approach to dog and cat nephroliths and ureteral stones, including minimally invasive procedures that can greatly aid these patients. Through case studies, the diagnostic and therapeutic approaches to nephroliths and ureteral stones in both dogs and cats is discussed. Identification of these stones and other imaging modalities is reviewed, along with a step-by-step therapeutic approach, and determination of which stones can be treated by medical therapy, surgery, or minimally invasive techniques.
