This talk will briefly outline the fundamentals of gene therapy and consider its applications for the small animal practitioner. Discussion covers gene therapy with regard to treatment of cancer, anemia, coagulopathies and much more. Despite great advancements, few clinically applicable gene therapy protocols are clinically available right now - this talk discusses why that is so and where we are going. CE Credits: 1.5 Hours
