11% of all dogs (and up to 16% of cats) have heart disease. While newer medications have improved the treatment of heart disease in pets, nutrition can also play a critical role in the optimal management of patients with heart disease. The session addresses this topic and also includes a discussion of practical tips for feeding the cardiac patient, as well as specific diet and supplement recommendations. CE Credits: 1 Hour
